Yes I would love to try Flax Weaving. Mum went over the fence to cut some flax so we could make some things. I've started making a mat and my mum made a flower.

My dad is very very strong cause he lives on a farm. He can pick me up really high and make it so my feet touch the roof. He plays lots of sports. He's got big muscles. He's very tough.

Hydnellum Peckii Rafflesia - They both red colour
- Both have little dots on them
- They both don't smell nice.
- Hydnellum Peckii is a type of fungi.
- The Hydnellum Peckii is eatable.
- The Hydnellum Peckii is small, and the Rafflesia is big.

ReplyDeleteWow, it's so great to see that you have given flax weaving a go and even showed us with these brilliant pictures! It's so wonderful that mum was able to join you and that you could spend time weaving flax together. That looks like a complicated but very beautiful flax flower! Was it hard to make? How long did it take you and mum to weave that? Weaving definitely takes a lot of time, patience and practice but it can be a very rewarding experience. Maybe you could continue to practise and see what kinds of other fantastic and interesting creations you could come up with, I would love to see!
I love that you have chosen to write about your dad as being the strongest person you know. Since he lives on a farm, is he always very busy? Does he have a lot of animals that he needs to feed and look after everyday? I've heard that living on a farm can be quite tiring so you have to be really strong and be prepared to work hard everyday. I remember when my dad used to pick me up really high when I was little, it was so fun! Do you play any sport with your dad?
Those two very weird and interesting plants! I like the two you have selected from the list, good choice. Well done for following the instructions and posting the pictures to show us what the plants look like. They don't look like they were grown on this planet, right? You have spotted some great similarities between these two plant, awesome work Johanna! You probably wouldn't want to eat the Hydnellum Peckii since it is very, very bitter, ew! Which plant do you like better?
