  1. Kia ora Johanna,

    It’s Leisha here again!

It is awesome to see you have finished lots of the Summer Learning activities already! I am enjoying reading them all so far!

Well done for completing Week 2, Day 4 activities. I really like the whakataukī you have chosen. Why did you choose this one? What meaning does it have for you? I love the image you have included. Did you draw this yourself?

You have found some really interesting facts out about both Inuit and Australian Aboriginal people. What was the most interesting fact that you found out?

The wise words from your mum are amazing! I love it. Be good, be kind and work hard. That is a fantastic motto to live by. I hope you remember those kind words everyday when you are at school too!

Keep up the great work Johanna. I am looking forward to reading more!

    1. Hi Johanna,

You're welcome. I really enjoyed reading this post! I like the whakatauki you chose because it reminds me that no matter how small, you can always achieve big. Just like a small seed that grows into something big and grows delicious fruit.

You are doing such an amazing job Johanna. I hope you are enjoying your holidays so far too! When do you start back at school?

    1. Hi Johanna,

Oh that's good. I am glad someone helped you set up your blocks. How did you go in your events? What one was your favourite? Long jump used to be my favourite. High jump was also fun but I would get nervous before doing that one too.

    1. Hi Johanna,

That is great to hear! I'm sure you had fun doing it too.

Was the weather good on your event day? I hope it wasn't raining as that would have made it a lot trickier to compete.
