  1. Hi johanna I like your graph but it is very hard to see. I did it on paper as well and I had the same problem so I kept taking photos till it was clearer and I said what the order was. I like how it is colourful. They are some good things to do in the summer here, maybe you could say where you could do them. Yes they are good five things that you will need in the summer. Come look at my blog and what I wrote
    keep up the great work

  2. Kia Ora Johanna,

My name is Rachel and I am working on the Summer Learning Journey blogging programme this year. It is great to see that you have decided to hop online and join the journey. Welcome to the SLJ team!

Like Jess, I really like your graph and am very impressed that you have completed it by hand and taken a picture. Would you be able to take another one that was a big clearer? I just want to be sure that I can see all of the details perfectly.

I will pop back in a little while to see if you have had time to load up a new picture. I'm just going to take my son, Aronui, for a little walk in the backyard. We live on the west side of Auckland city and our backyard is full of trees. It backs onto a park and we are able to go walking through it whenever we want to go. Today the weather is beautiful but quite hot so we will need to make sure that we follow your 'sunsmart' guidelines before we head out. The sun in New Zealand really is so powerful, isn't it?

I hope that you are able to get out and enjoy some beautiful sunny days this summer. Do you and your family have any special plans for the break? Will you head to the local beach by any chance? Our local beach is called 'French Bay' and it's quite nice but also quite small. If we want to go to a bigger beach we usually head west to a place called Karekare. It has black sand and amazing cliffs that surround it. I really love it!

Wishing you a great summer holiday. I'll look forward to reading more of your work and hope that you are able to upload another picture of your graph soon.

    In the meantime, take care!

    Best,
    Rachel :)
