The name of the game is Poi Rā kau

This is a game I found and I like the look of it. And I want to show it to my teacher.

The goal of the game is that someone would call out something and then people go around. They hold a stick and you have to try make it not fall down. One of the rules is that if you put the stick into the ground your cheating.  The second rule is that if it falls down you are out.

Bonus activity

1. Te Puku o Te Ika. I enjoyed Te Puku o Te Ika the best. I don’t know why but I just enjoyed that one the most.

Week 1 day 3

Activity 1

No I would not like nine siblings or seven because the house would be full of kids. Waiting to go to the toilet would take a long time in the morning. I would feel annoyed when they keep asking me questions.And they will keep on arguing. They would not all fit in the bath and they would have to take turns to get into the bath.

Activity 2

Dear Teagan

How are you?

I’m on a waka and I lived Hawaiki and I am on the way to new zealand.  I feel sad that I left my friends and my family.  I’m not excited about the trip to New Zealand.

The only thing I can see with my eyes is the clouds, thundering clouds and only the sea.  I might see an island up in front of me. I saw a jelly fish in the water and I saw fish and a bright blue whale.  I have someone behind me, then I will be looked after by him.

Summer learning journey day 1

Activity 1

1. Maui loves fishing in the ocean

Another story i’ve heard before is, maui and the sun.

Marae trp

First we had to drive. Ones we got to the marae we pray sing bey the gate. Then we were allowed to go in.Then we went in the marae. A giea was doing something in the conare but I didn't really see him. We all had to go toilet before we eut lunch. There were cake pies sosgrole and fruit. We had to have one of them. Then the man walk to the front with the year 1-4 after that we had lunch from are lunch box then we had to get ready to go but the year 5-8 gote to stay for the night we had to go to school then we went home.
