Activity 1 Bird of the year
Kea:
Keas eat roots, leaves, berries, nectar, and insects. Keas live in mountains that are in the south island. You often find them in ski places.
Keas are dark green and light green. Also Keas are very sneaky. Keas can live up to 50 years. Keas are a type of Parrot.

Activity 3 Wind Beneath My Wings
Hi Johanna Its Jess
ReplyDeleteActivity 1 I found your first task funny because I picked the Kea as well as you but I did not know that they lived for 50 years that is a long time I was so surprised when I read it. I like that you added a photo to your post.
Activity 2 I think that your superpower would be cool. My one was to be able to fly. Maybe next time you could write more or put a photo on it.
Activity 3 I like how you put some photos on this post and they are 3 interesting facts and flying squirrels. It would be cool if there were living where we live.
Keep up the great work
From Jess
Kia ora Johanna,
ReplyDeleteI can see the kea in the photo! I love that you have posted a photo that has been taken by mum. Wow, I didn't know that you could get so close to these beautiful kea birds. I thought that you could only see them in the zoo or bird sanctuaries but I guess not. I really want to go to Arthur's Pass and see them in real life for myself now, I'm glad you mentioned it, thank you! I've learnt another new fact from you, I had no idea that keas could live up to 50 years! Their feathers are absolutely gorgeous, aren't they? Are they afraid of people approaching them?
You already have that superpower growing inside you, Johanna! I've seen your work and you have published some really wonderful and creative posts! If I could have a superpower, I would like to be just like Violet from The Incredibles. Have you seen both their movies before? Violet can make force fields to protect her from harm and she can turn invisible too! I think it would be so cool to turn invisible whenever you wanted to, especially when something embarrassing happens!
What a great choice of a flying animal you have made, I love that you have chosen to write your digital learning object (DLO) on an flying squirrels! Don't you think they look adorable? It's awesome to see that you have followed the instructions and included three facts as well as pictures, fantastic work Johanna! I would love to be able to glide through the air like they do! What was your favourite fact?
Happy blogging,
Evelyn :)
