The moment I splashed in the water
While I was on the paddle board I jumped off. The water felt shallow. It was cold and warm too. I could see that I was floating in the water. I got to have a go on the paddle board myself. It was so much fun that I want to go again next time I go to Westport. Rylee and I wanted to have a go at the back of the paddle board so that we could be dragged around the water.

The Moment I Won
The moment I won
I was playing board games in the Holiday with my sister and
brother at the Bach 2 weeks ago. We stayed there for 2 days.
I stayed up late cause of dad he didn't go to sleep yet. My eyes
went sore. I was getting tired so I got into my bed. I couldn't get
to sleep cause of dad.

My Amazing Descriptive Writing
My amazing descriptive writing
I rise upside down on stage in front of loads and loads of people.
I smell popcorn as I rise high in the air. My heart beats swift I
might fall down. Then I hit the ground then boom I came 1st.
Yay. Then all of a sudden the crowd goes wild. And I bow. I can
see my mum and dad and I wave. then I go off stage I was
prowed of my self.

Mars
Mars is in our solar system. It is 6780 km in diameter which is half the size of Earth. This makes it the second smallest planet in our Solar System. Mars is 227.8 million km from the sun. It is the fourth planet from the sun. it is the last inner planet. It takes 687 days for mars to orbit the sun.
Mars looks different than other planets. On Mars there are two moons called Phobos and Deimos. Mars has a volcano called Olympus which is 27 km in height and is 3 times taller than Mount Everest. Mars is called the red planet because the color of mars is blood red.
ars is made out of rock iron and dust.
Mars history goes back a long way. It is named after the roman god of war. An Italian astronomer called Galileo was the first person to see Mars with a telescope. It can be seen in the night sky without the use of a telescope. Mariner 9 got launched on to mars in may 30 1971.
We were learning put topic sentences in our writing and to describe how Mars if different to other planets.
